Join our bustling warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Material Handler! We are seeking energetic individuals to assist in the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout our facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role is fundamental to our daily Logistics operations, ensuring that materials are available when and where they are needed. A strong commitment to Safety and teamwork is essential. Your daily tasks will involve:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Transporting materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Locating and retrieving materials for production, shipping, or storage.
- Organizing and stacking materials in designated areas.
- Performing routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure proper function.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Using appropriate PPE at all times, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Reporting any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions immediately.
