Our Distribution Center in Chicago, Illinois is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team. This role is integral to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from our facility to our customers. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, picking customer orders, packing items securely, and preparing shipments. A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence is essential. You will be required to utilize and maintain all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. This position involves physical activity, including regular lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Stock inventory accurately in designated locations.
  • Fulfill orders by picking products efficiently and correctly.
  • Pack orders to prevent damage during transit.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification required or willingness to obtain).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized distribution center.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is required.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
