Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Baltimore, Maryland. This vital role supports the seamless flow of goods through our state-of-the-art facility. You'll be instrumental in ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to our valued customers. Our Distribution Center Associates are the backbone of our logistics operations, contributing to customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate order fulfillment. You will be responsible for various tasks, including receiving inbound shipments, putting away stock, picking orders, and preparing items for dispatch. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment are essential. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to achieving performance targets. Continuous improvement and adherence to best practices in warehouse management are encouraged. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Must be able to handle Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is beneficial. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting. Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Understanding of logistics principles is a plus. Must prioritize Safety in all job functions.
