Job Summary:
Join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as an Inventory Clerk! In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include performing regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and assisting with stocktaking activities. You will utilize our inventory management system to track stock levels, investigate variances, and ensure that our records accurately reflect the physical inventory. This position requires a high level of detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics. Your diligence in this role directly impacts our ability to fulfill orders efficiently and maintain optimal stock levels. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is expected.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts (wall-to-wall).
  • Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report any low stock or potential shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and condition as part of inventory checks.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve inventory processes.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and WMS is a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally, and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
