Our Orlando, Florida distribution center is looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our logistics network. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and ensuring that our warehouse management system (WMS) is up-to-date. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a meticulous approach to data entry, and a solid understanding of inventory control procedures. Your responsibilities will include receiving and put-away verification, stock rotation, and assisting with physical inventory audits. Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
- Assist with put-away and stock rotation.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
- Support warehouse staff with inventory-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
