We are seeking a dynamic Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. As a Picker/Packer, you will be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, accurately selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will work within a team environment, contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse and ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and Safety.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or loading/unloading.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques to handle products safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product information.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Experience with logistics operations is advantageous.
