Our expanding logistics operation in Washington, D.C. is looking for a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This position is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics network. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying outgoing orders against manifests, packaging items securely, applying shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers for pick-ups. A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure all shipments meet company and carrier requirements. Understanding of warehouse logistics and shipping procedures is highly desirable.
