Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in our busy Miami, Florida distribution center. This role is essential to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products for customer orders. You will work closely with a team to ensure that all orders are picked correctly and prepared for shipment, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction. Upholding stringent Safety standards, including the proper and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a core requirement of this position. Your contribution is vital to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning technology.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and subsequent shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to maximize efficiency and Safety.
- Perform regular checks on inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, with a strong emphasis on PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking quotas and support overall logistics flow.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed, such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability for moderate Lifting, up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
