Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages for shipment, ensuring all information is correct.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as tape guns and box cutters.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere within the logistics operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capability of moderate Lifting, typically up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to meet picking and packing quotas.
