*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
* Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that promote effective communication and safe swallowing functions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches.
* Utilize your physiology knowledge and understanding of anatomy to inform therapy techniques and interventions.
* Engage with pediatric patients in early intervention programs to support developmental milestones.
* Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with medical terminology standards.
* Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills and manage speech or swallowing challenges.
*Experience*
* Proven experience working with geriatric populations.
* Strong background in speech therapy techniques across various disorders and age groups.
* Familiarity with patient assessment tools, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to speech-language pathology.
* Prior school experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to adapt therapy methods for educational environments.
* Knowledge of physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions is essential.

Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
