We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. *Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review in compliance with HIPAA regulations
* Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) using modern EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
* Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments
* Review and update medical records accurately, ensuring documentation review aligns with medical coding standards
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental clinic or office setting, with familiarity using EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology
* Experience working with pediatric patients (pediatrics) is highly desirable
* Demonstrated ability to perform dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting during various procedures
* Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical records management to ensure patient confidentiality and accurate documentation
* Prior experience in infection control practices and aseptic technique within a dental environment is essential
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, providing compassionate care while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $51.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
