Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Website Project Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for customers during our 8-week website build process. This role ensures each project stays on schedule, communication is seamless, milestones are met, and the final website launches smoothly. You’ll act as the bridge between clients, web developers, and internal teams—managing expectations, troubleshooting roadblocks, coordinating DNS and technical tasks, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from kickoff to launch.

Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Relationship Management
Serve as the main point of contact for all website-related questions during the 8-week build timeline.
Lead website launch calls, and regular check-ins with clients.
Communicate technical information—such as DNS updates, hosting details, site structure, and launch steps—in a clear and approachable way.
Ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout every phase of the project.
Project Management & Delivery
Manage the full lifecycle of website builds from onboarding intake to launch.
Maintain timelines, monitor progress, and ensure all deliverables remain on track.
Coordinate cross-department collaboration with development, content, design, and SEO teams.
Anticipate potential delays or blockers and proactively resolve issues before they impact deadlines.
Own the QA and pre-launch approval process to ensure accuracy and high standards.
Technical Coordination
Oversee DNS setup, domain transitions, and hosting-related tasks with precision.
Ensure all technical requirements—forms, tracking codes, redirects, analytics, and integrations—are implemented correctly.
Conduct thorough pre-launch testing, including mobile responsiveness, speed checks, and functionality reviews.
Support the smooth migration and go-live process, ensuring minimal downtime and successful deployment.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in website project management, account management, or digital production.
Strong understanding of website development workflows and content management systems (WordPress experience preferred).
Familiarity with DNS, hosting environments, website launches, and basic web technologies.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into client-friendly explanations.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a digital marketing agency or fast-paced production environment is a plus.
Proficiency with project management tools (ClickUp preferred), Google Workspace, MarkUp, and basic analytics platforms.
A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to “make it happen.”
