Senior Mobile Backend Developer (Java / Kotlin, AWS, Microservices) – Contract We are hiring a Senior Mobile Backend Developer to work on high-scale, cloud-native platforms supporting mobile applications in a regulated environment. This is a hands‑on backend role focused on Java / Kotlin microservices, secure API design, and cloud delivery. You will contribute across the full SDLC while influencing engineering standards, best practices, and technical quality. Key Responsibilities
Design and build scalable backend services using Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot Develop secure, mobile‑facing APIs using OAuth 2.0 and modern authentication patterns Work with microservices and event‑driven architectures Deploy and support services in AWS / cloud environments Apply TDD / BDD and automation testing to deliver high‑quality code Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and stakeholders across delivery teams Mentor peers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience
