About the Role

As a Journeyman Hair Stylist, you will bring your advanced skills, creativity, and professionalism to every service you deliver. You'll work with premium KEVIN.MURPHY products, tools, and education to offer customized haircuts, color, treatments, and styling for a diverse clientele.

You'll also play a key role in helping shape the culture of our new space—setting the tone for excellence, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level hair services including cuts, coloring, highlights, balayage, treatments, and styling
• Build strong, loyal relationships with clients through consultation, service excellence, and aftercare education
• Maintain high cleanliness, sanitation, and organizational standards in your work area
• Stay current with trends, techniques, and KEVIN.MURPHY product knowledge
• Support junior stylists and contribute to a positive, growth-minded team culture
• Promote retail sales through education and personalized product recommendations
• Participate in ongoing education and salon training sessions

Qualifications

• Journeyman Certification in Hairstyling (required)
• Proven experience in a salon environment (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Passion for the hair and beauty industry, with a keen eye for trends and detail
• Familiarity with or willingness to train in KEVIN.MURPHY product lines and philosophy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude
