Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft and vandalism, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a professional with strong observational skills and a commitment to safety protocols. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is highly valued.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
• Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying and addressing potential theft or vandalism
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities and security incidents
• Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes when required
• Assist with safety procedures during emergencies such as fire drills or evacuations
• Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
• Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious behavior
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies
