Dr. Interested
is a global, youth-led, volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to making healthcare exploration, research, and academic opportunities more accessible to students. Through publications, events, digital content, advocacy initiatives, and leadership programs, we empower young people to explore diverse pathways within medicine and healthcare, build practical skills, and engage in meaningful work beyond the classroom. Our community operates across multiple platforms and initiatives, driven by collaboration, curiosity, and impact, while supporting aspiring medical professionals worldwide.

Role Description

As a
Coordinator
with
Dr. Interested
, you may support one of the following areas based on your interests and organizational needs:

• Technology:
  Maintain and update websites, upload blog content, and support basic backend tasks and data dashboards
• Human Resources:
  Assist with onboarding, manage internal forms, track volunteer hours, and help moderate meetings and community spaces
• Marketing:
  Create social media content, design graphics, write captions, monitor trends, and support engagement across different social media platforms.
• Finance:
  Support grant writing, sponsorship outreach, budget tracking, and funding-related planning
• Events:
  Plan and execute webinars, fairs, workshops, and collaborations; coordinate logistics and external communication
• Publications & Research:
  Write and edit articles, support research initiatives, and help transform ideas into polished publications

Sub-teams:

• Podcasts Team:
  Support episode planning, guest outreach, scripting, and recording
• Ambassador Program:
  Represent Dr. Interested in your community and help us grow our reach

Qualifications

• High school or post-secondary student interested in healthcare, research, advocacy, or leadership
• Ability to commit to a volunteer-based role for a consistent period of time
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Organized, reliable, and aligned with Dr. Interested's mission
