We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy at our bustling Charlotte, North Carolina facility. This critical role is central to our logistics operations, ensuring that our inventory data is precise and reliable. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and performing audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to optimizing inventory levels and reducing waste. This position requires collaboration with warehouse staff to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency. A commitment to workplace safety is paramount, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies accurately and timely.
- Analyze inventory data to identify root causes of variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure the integrity of inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and flow.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and mandatory PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform lifting duties when necessary.
- Deep understanding of logistics principles and best practices.
- Commitment to a safe working environment and proper PPE usage.
