We are seeking a qualified Warehouse Technician for our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and hands-on warehouse operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse equipment, assisting with inventory management, and supporting general warehouse duties to ensure the efficient flow of goods within our logistics operations. A strong focus on Safety, preventative maintenance, and operational efficiency is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all warehouse machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the receiving, stocking, and order picking processes.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support inventory management and cycle count activities.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar mechanical role.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of industrial Safety standards and practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and maneuvering equipment.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and material handling systems.
- Willingness to wear and maintain required PPE.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
