We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse and distribution center. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading shipments, transferring materials using forklifts and other equipment, and ensuring accurate inventory placement. This position is vital to our logistics flow and requires a strong commitment to Safety and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts and other equipment.
- Accurately identify, sort, and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Maintain organized storage of materials to optimize space and accessibility.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Strictly follow all Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting processes.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operation certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including Lifting heavy items.
- Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and material flow.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and hazard prevention.
- Proficiency in using various types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
