Job Summary:
We are hiring a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role demands strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to driving efficiency and safety. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your duties will include managing staff performance, scheduling, training, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and optimizing workflow to meet productivity targets. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement work schedules and assignments.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and proper use of PPE.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Manage the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Knowledge of WMS and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with lifting requirements and warehouse equipment operation.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
