We are seeking energetic and reliable Order Pickers to join our bustling warehouse facility in Houston, Texas. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment. Your meticulous work ensures that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner, directly impacting our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You'll navigate our extensive warehouse using advanced technology, including RF scanners, to locate items and manage inventory. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. This position requires physical stamina, including prolonged standing, walking, and the ability to lift.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanning equipment for order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
- Assemble orders accurately, ensuring all items are picked and verified.
- Package products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within your assigned work zone.
- Observe and comply with all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory control tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and warehouse systems.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
