Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our San Jose team. This role is the first point of contact for incoming goods and is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments, verifying them against purchase orders. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong attention to detail, and can handle the physical demands of the job, including regular Lifting . A strong commitment to workplace Safety , including the proper use of PPE , is essential. This position plays a key part in our overall Logistics process.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
  • Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Accurately document all received items in the inventory management system.
  • Tag and label inventory appropriately for storage.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management immediately.
  • Organize and stage incoming goods for efficient put-away.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE .
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall Logistics operations.
  • Handle materials and products safely, including tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or a related role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
  • Willingness to comply with all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE .
