Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Charlotte facility. This role is paramount to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that our stock levels are precise. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems. Experience with warehouse operations and Logistics is essential. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies and upholding rigorous Safety standards, including the appropriate use of PPE and safe handling practices for items requiring Lifting .
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels, track inventory movement, and manage stock rotation.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to record and update inventory data.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize stock levels.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations and purchasing teams to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure the proper storage and organization of inventory to maximize space and facilitate efficient Logistics .
  • Uphold strict Safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the correct use of PPE .
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Handle materials and products safely, including managing items requiring significant Lifting .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory control software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics best practices.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety and ensuring the proper use of PPE .
