Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, managing inventory data, and implementing process improvements to optimize stock management. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are paramount. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth inventory operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitoring inventory accuracy and reporting on key metrics.
  • Identifying and segregating damaged, expired, or non-conforming products.
  • Assisting with receiving and shipping operations to ensure accurate reconciliation of goods.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company Safety standards and protocols.
  • Proper utilization of all required PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts in inventory management.
This role may involve moderate Lifting of inventory items. A strong understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory management principles is essential.
