Come be a part of our dynamic warehouse operations in Tampa, Florida, as an Order Picker! This position is fundamental to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include using order sheets or scanning equipment to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves. Once items are picked, you will prepare them for the next stage of the logistics process. Meticulous attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with team members to uphold productivity standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of our warehouse. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety policies and the correct use of PPE is required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Notify supervisors of any discrepancies or issues with inventory.
- Pack items carefully and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory management activities as directed.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support the team and operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and comprehend order forms and instructions.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics operations.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and proper use of safety equipment.
