Join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler. This critical role supports the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and transporting materials to and from designated areas. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and adherence to all company policies regarding the use of PPE and safe operating procedures is mandatory. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses excellent spatial awareness, and has experience with forklifts and other warehouse machinery. You will play a key part in ensuring the timely flow of inventory, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using designated equipment.
- Stack and store materials in appropriate locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to safe lifting practices and general logistics operations.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
