You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specified items, and preparing them for the next stages of our distribution process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or electronic orders.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and confirm item selections.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Package items appropriately for transport or stage them for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to the overall logistics operation.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques to prevent strain and injury.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse Safety practices.
- Punctuality and a strong commitment to work responsibilities.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Experience with logistics procedures is beneficial.
