We are seeking an efficient and reliable Picker/Packer to join our bustling warehouse team in Seattle, Washington. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Your precision and speed directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including frequent lifting. You will work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure orders are processed promptly and correctly, meeting high productivity standards. Safety is paramount; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics for speed and accuracy.
- Contribute to overall warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse position is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
