*Position Title: A-Level Technician (Master Auto Technician / Lead Tech)*
*PAY SCALE: $28-$32 depending on experience*

*Overview*
We’re seeking an experienced, highly-skilled *A-Level Technician* to join our team. You’ll be the go-to expert for advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and mentoring junior technicians. If you're ASE Master Certified and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you.
*Key Responsibilities*
· Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
· Perform advanced engine, transmission, and electrical system repairs.
· Utilize scan tools and OEM diagnostic equipment.
· Lead and support major repair projects from start to finish.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to B and C-level technicians.
· Conduct quality control checks and ensure repair accuracy.
· Communicate effectively with service writers on repair needs and timelines.
· Stay current on industry trends, certifications, and continuing education.
· Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required
· Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues
· Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
· Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
· Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
· Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
· Any additional task assigned by supervisor.
*Qualifications*
· Minimum 7 years of hands-on automotive experience.
· ASE Master Technician certification (required).
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
· Proficient with scan tools, schematics, and OEM systems.
· Leadership qualities and a passion for teaching others.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Advanced knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine
· In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
· Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
· Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Keen attention to detail
· Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
· Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software
*Hiring Timeline:*

· First Interviews: Scheduled for qualified applicants
· Potential 2nd Interview: If necessary
· Job Offer: Extended selected candidates.
· Background Check: On candidates who have accepted job offers
· Orientation/Start Date scheduled: If the background check is clear
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
