Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Food Preparation Associate to join our team. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products and exceptional customer service.

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Sample products to customers and ensure they meet our high standards.
• Stock and display prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
• Check product dates to ensure freshness and rotate stock when necessary.
• Contribute to a clean and organized workspace by bailing and consolidating recyclables.
• Assist Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide exceptional customer service, address customer needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages courteously.
• Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.

• Ability to sell proactively and learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills with a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully to fellow team members, customers, and vendors.
• Meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Follow directions and procedures, manage time effectively, and maintain a strong work ethic.
