Join our thriving logistics operation as an Inventory Clerk in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products on time. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS). You will assist in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring all items are properly identified, logged, and stored. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key responsibilities include performing physical inventory checks, generating inventory reports, and identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock. You will also support the shipping and receiving departments by providing accurate inventory data and assisting with order fulfillment as needed. Safety is a core value in our warehouse; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE is expected at all times. Lifting of products, which may vary in weight, will be part of your daily tasks. Understanding inventory control principles and best practices is beneficial.
