Are you detail-oriented and organized? We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our San Francisco, California facility. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. This role is vital to our logistics network, managing the flow of inventory into our warehouse. You'll be responsible for unloading shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and inspecting for damage. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. We are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient receiving operation, requiring all team members to follow strict safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks, verifying quantities and product information against shipping documents.
- Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Accurately record received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Sort and stage incoming inventory for put-away by other warehouse staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse receiving role preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform necessary lifting.
- Commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
