Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with the receiving and put-away process to ensure proper stocking.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any stock-outs or excess stock.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control.
- Support the overall logistics and operational efficiency of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
