We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Los Angeles, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Your leadership will ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods through our logistics network. You will manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, optimizing workflow, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficient storage.
- Oversee the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Train and develop warehouse associates, providing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners.
- Conduct regular safety audits and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
