We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our bustling facility in Miami, Florida. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement and handling of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential for success in this position. You will work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and attention to detail are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Pick orders accurately using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures common in warehouse environments.
