Opportunity awaits for a certified Forklift Operator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! Join our dynamic logistics team and play a key role in material handling and inventory management. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position is critical to the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. A strong understanding of forklift operation, warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. You must be diligent in inspecting your equipment before use and adhering to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from various warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as order picking and packing.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are a must.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
