You will work with warehouse equipment and systems to manage inventory and prepare shipments. Safety is our highest priority; therefore, all associates must strictly follow all safety protocols and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This role demands physical stamina, involving frequent lifting, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for outbound transportation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and physical activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting, standing, and walking.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong desire to work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is beneficial.
