Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your attention to Safety and efficiency is paramount as you ensure the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse and support our overall logistics operations. This is a hands-on position vital to our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packing materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues or maintenance needs.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
  • Support receiving and shipping departments as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, particularly those concerning material handling and Logistics .

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
  • Must wear required PPE , including safety shoes, vests, and eye protection.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
