Seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to become an integral part of our team in Dallas, Texas! This position is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse and plays a key role in our logistics network. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders for customers, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. We emphasize the importance of following all safety protocols and utilizing appropriate PPE. This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and requires a good level of physical stamina. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure the correct use and availability of required PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
- Support various logistics functions as needed.
- Engage in tasks requiring significant Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent and substantial Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and RF scanners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
