We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Boise, Idaho! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will use RF scanners and other equipment to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves for order fulfillment. Accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to safety are paramount. You’ll be moving throughout the warehouse, handling various products, and contributing to the overall logistics workflow. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and requires physical stamina. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and an interest in the logistics sector, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or RF scanner data.
- Transport picked items to packing or shipping stations.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Repackage items as needed for safe transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Operate order picking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments.
- Perform tasks that involve considerable Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
