We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our thriving warehouse in Provo, Utah. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly impacting the efficiency of our logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and ensuring that our warehouse management system (WMS) reflects real-time inventory levels. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and advise on reorder points.
- Oversee the organization and layout of inventory storage areas.
- Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and shipping teams.
- Uphold all safety standards, including the correct use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques.
- Generate and analyze inventory control reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree is a plus.
