Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a Picker/Packer role in San Diego, California? Our company is seeking energetic individuals to join our fulfillment team. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders, inspecting items for quality, and carefully packing them for shipment. You will ensure that orders are processed efficiently and meet our high standards for accuracy and presentation. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and correct order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The job involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and standing for long durations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting and movement of packages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills.
