• Wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries, ensuring proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrive at workstations on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising procedures.
• Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, and ensure equipment meets WFM standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Report any safety hazards or violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

• No prior retail experience necessary.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures 90°F.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
• May require ladder use.
