Food Preparation Specialist

As a member of our Prepared Foods team, you'll support our mission by preparing, serving, and stocking products with excellent customer service. You'll work closely with your team to create a positive company image and ensure all tasks are completed according to standard operating procedures.

• Cut, prepare, and serve hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Sample products to customers and stock hot and cold cases with prepared foods from the kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
• Check product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary.
• Bail and consolidate recyclables.
• Assist the team leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks.

• Sell proactively and learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully to fellow team members, customers, and vendors.
• Meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions.
• Familiarity with natural foods and passion for our mission.
