Position Overview A leading medical device company seeks a Regional Sales Manager to oversee the Southern region. This role involves driving growth, developing high‑performing teams, and strengthening relationships with healthcare providers across the region.
Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Area Representatives to achieve regional sales targets
Support product demonstrations, trials, and training sessions to maintain the highest standards
Deliver new and refresher training programs to your team
Oversee recruitment campaigns for new team members as required
Monitor market trends and report insights to the Sales Director
Review and manage the sales pipeline of direct reports monthly
Produce and submit accurate sales forecasts for the team
Plan, delegate, and oversee regional exhibitions and courses
Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings, approve annual leave, and hold annual appraisals with direct reports
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of all products within the team’s portfolio
Consult with manufacturers on product‑related matters
Ensure compliance with company policies, frameworks, and commitment agreements
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales leadership within the medical device or healthcare sector, with direct management or strong mentoring experience
Strong understanding of clinical and hospital environments
Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams
Excellent organizational, planning, and reporting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Results‑driven with a strategic and consultative approach
Experience in managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and regional budgets
Benefits
Up to £65,000 base salary + £35,000 uncapped bonus + £7,000 annual car allowance, or company car
