The focus of your work will be advising our clients from a wide range of industries in the business and technical core topics of controlling, finance, group accounting and data management.
You will act as an interface between IT and the specialist department. You will advise, design and make a decisive contribution ensuring that the requirements of business intelligence solutions can be defined and implemented smoothly.
This can include conducting scoping exercises, requirements assessments, project management, conducting workshops and more.
You will work mostly in our customers Azure or AWS cloud‑based environments creating functional and technical designs. You will then implement the BI solutions based on your design and conduct customer training.
You will become a trusted advisor to the customers with whom you are working within 6 months.
Qualifications
Practical experience in data warehousing and business intelligence ETL processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server as well as MS SQL Server Integration Services or MS SQL Server Analysis Services; certification as MCSA MS SQL Server desirable.
Practical experience in (multi‑)dimensional data modelling and enthusiasm for related concepts such as Data Vault.
Methodological knowledge of ETL and data integration processes, including data structures from databases, ERP, CRM and other operational systems or APIs.
Excellent knowledge of SQL and confidence in dealing with relational databases, proven in larger BI projects.
Degree in business information systems, computer science or comparable professional experience.
German language skills would be advantageous.
