Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment; Completes tasks related to dining and food preparation. Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as Accurately documents outcomes related to resident cares, medications/treatments, behaviors, activities and dietary. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational; follows consistent hand washing and Personal Protective Equipment use. Provides assistance/documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. Must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the licensed nurse, dietary manager, recreational coordinator, and environmental services manager. work with residents in sub-acute care and long term care. Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of resident care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area. Food service experience preferred, but not required. In Minnesota a Certified Nursing Assistant must be certified and registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
