Design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Architect backend systems for high scalability, availability, and performance. Integrate third-party services and APIs to expand platform functionality. Develop internal tools supporting operations, workflows, and machine learning initiatives. Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver impactful features rapidly. Ensure security, testing, and proper documentation of all backend systems. Optimize infrastructure for a fast-growing user base with high performance expectations. Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Backend or Fullstack Engineer. Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Azure Search. Proven success in building and scaling eCommerce or marketplace platforms. Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Experience designing robust enterprise-level APIs that integrate seamlessly with mobile applications. Solid coding practices: reusable components, test-driven development, and scalable architecture (e.g., event-driven, microservices). Comfortable iterating quickly in a fast-paced startup environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly. Key Competencies
