We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in Lincoln, Nebraska. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare by supporting our physicians and enhancing patient experiences.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-2 No weekends, no holidays.
*Responsibilities*
* Direct patient care - Preparing for patient visit, checking vitals, patient histories, rooming & discharging patients from ambulatory outpatient clinic.
* Performing vaccinations, Injections, medication instruction, nebulized treatments, flu testing, and assist with in-office procedures
* Carry Out orders under direction of the Provider (MD, PA, or APRN)
* CMA would also be responsible for coordination of patient care - scheduling procedures, making referrals, managing results
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
* Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
* Medication Aide license is required.
* Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
* Proficiency in EHR systems is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39.5 per week
