As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
We’ll equip you for success from day one — with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

Key Benefits
Competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable).
Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
40 hours per week, core hours 8:30 am–5 pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Tools, van, fuel card, full uniform and essential diagnostic kit provided.
23 days holiday (rising to 25 with service) plus bank holidays.

What You’ll Need
Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician.
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

You mix servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks daily, while managing stock, reporting, and customer conversations.
